Children need the opportunity to experience all that life has to offer. Millville School believes every student benefits and needs opportunities for expression through the arts.
Music/Band
We encourage student interest in music through weekly classes in music exploration. Primary students learn about the basic elements of music such as rhythm, beat, melody and harmony. Students in third and fourth grade learn how to play the recorder while students in fifth grade begin instruction on band instruments.
Music instruction begins early in the school year and continues through spring. Some of the performance opportunities our Millville students may experience are: the Winter Program, the Redding Rodeo Parade, the Millville Spring Concert and possibly more.
